On the short side as in I wouldn't wear this to work without tights but not so egregiously short that the cheeks are out. Very fun layering piece, can be dressed up or dressed down. Nice for a casual day at the office or a cute picnic with friends. Great functional pocket for both placement and size.

I adore this dress! The material was a bit like a dark denim or corduroy. It's got decent thickness to it and beautiful embroidery details. I love how versatile it is. It could definitely be worn with a variety of tops, or just with the dress alone. Already wore it out to a metal show and felt very classy goth. Definitely recommend.
